Part sun or full sun. Very easy to grow. Zone 9, 10, 11. Also can be easily grown in containers and indoors. Full size trees reach 15-25 feet. Good bonsai candidate.
The flowers are processed through distillation to produce a perfume called Cassie. It has a long history of wide use in the perfume industry in Europe. Origin of the species is Mexico and Central America.
