Papaya - T. R. Hovey Dwarf
Average fruit weight is 3.5 lbs. and a tree will produce 40 - 60 fruit each year or about one ripened fruit each week. Mature height is 8'. Self-pollinating. (Tree does not require a pollinator.) In cooler zones it should be planted in protected areas, in a large container that can be brought inside during cold or in the spring as an annual. Prefers full sun or mostly sun.
